1. ESTABLISHED ITE EFFICACY IN CANCER THERAPY
ITE efficacy in cancer therapy has been firmed established. Potent growth inhibition of both human cancers on xenografting models (human cancer cell lines inoculated onto immune compromised mice) and mouse cancers on syngeneic models (mouse cancer cell lines inoculated onto mice with healthy immune systems) has been demonstrated. Tested cancer types include that of prostate, liver, ovary, and breast cancers of humans and liver and lung cancers of mice.

2. DEVELOPED AN EFFICIENT SYNTHESIS ROUTE FOR ITE
An efficient synthetic scheme for ITE has been established to replace the previous one, which was very low in efficiency and very hard to be scaled up for a large-scale ITE production. The newly discovered synthesis route has been estimated to be at least 5 times higher in overall yield than the previous one.
